Executive Consulting
Customized service built around your needs and budget in areas such as Board or Organization Development/Evaluation, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Community Engagement, Policy Reviews, Conflict Resolution; Organizational Communications, and Corporate Retreats.
Rates: $75 per hour or $575 per day, plus GST. Travel costs as per provincial guidelines. [Note: A detailed budget will be created with you in advance to incorporate all services needed.]
HR Support
Executive support in a wide array of Human Resource activities such as Leadership Recruitment or Evaluation, Coaching, Workplace Reviews, HR Investigations, Mediation, Succession Planning, and Employee Engagement.
Rates: $75 per hour or $575 per day, plus GST. Travel costs as per provincial guidelines. [Note: A detailed budget will be created with you in advance to incorporate all service needed.]
Training Workshops
A number of 3-hour workshops are available: (1) Time Management; (2) Effective Meetings; (3) Building Better Boards; (4) Budgeting for Non-Profit Boards; (5) Community Engagement; (6) Leading through Change; (7) Communications in the Public Sector; and (8) Conflict Resolution.
Rates: $375 per workshop, plus GST. Travel costs as per provincial guidelines. [Note: A modest copy fee of $5 per participant will be charged for handouts.]
Seminar for Administrative & Office Professionals

NEXUS Consulting & Training is pleased to offer this one-day seminar in Baie Verte on August 27, 2025. The session is designed to actively engage participants in the learning process and ensure they leave with practical ideas and resources to support their daily work activities.
Dr. David Rideout is the seminar facilitator. He has 25+ years of experience in executive leadership positions and in adult education. David has given presentations at local, provincial and national events.
This 6-hour seminar will focus on three critical areas to help administrative professionals and other office staff realize success in their workplace:
1. Keys to Time Management: Gain practical strategies to manage work time effectively, enhance productivity, achieve goals efficiently, and thereby increase job satisfaction.
2. Ensuring Effective Meetings: Learn how to make sure meetings are purposeful, productive, and achieving their intended outcomes.
3. Communications in Successful Organizations: Explore ways to help workplaces increase employee engagement and achieve success through good communication policies and practices.
Registration: $119 + HST by August 7, 2025
Lunch Option available on site for an additional $15 + HST (chicken soup, sandwiches, soda pop, dessert, tea and coffee). Dr. David Rideout
Executive Consultant
David spent half of his career in Alberta and half in Newfoundland & Labrador. He has served as a Teacher, School Principal, Director (CEO) of Education, Superintendent (CEO) of Schools, and Director (CEO) of Child & Family Services. In addition, he has served as a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary and given workshops at local, provincial and national events.
David’s educational background includes three degrees (B.A., B.Ed., and M.Ed.) from Memorial University and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from the University of Toronto.
